UNITED NATIONS, June 30 – Russian investigative authorities have identified individuals allegedly involved in a drone strike on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens and have filed criminal charges against them, Russia’s Acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Anna Yevstigneyeva, said on Monday.

Addressing the UN, Yevstigneyeva said investigators had gathered evidence that, according to Moscow, indicated the drone used in the attack originated from Ukraine.

She alleged that Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, R. Brovdi, also known as “Magyar,” and the head of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate, O. Ivashchenko, were involved in planning the strike.

“Their involvement in this terrorist act has been established. They provided targeting support and issued the order to strike children,” Yevstigneyeva said.

She further stated that the individuals directly responsible for carrying out the attack had also been identified and charged.

“All of them have been placed on an international wanted list,” she added.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and Ukrainian authorities have not publicly responded to the claims.
