The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago, Amiri Brown, stressed that the time has come for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and his country’s support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and the necessity of moving to a new phase in relations between the two countries and making progress towards enhancing development cooperation in a way that reflects the interests of the two countries.

This came during a phone call with a Palestinian delegation to the Caribbean, which includes Ambassador Linda Sobh and Ambassador Imad Al-Zuhairi, where they thanked and appreciated his country’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine, and the importance of this decision, which is aimed at the Palestinian people enjoying their right to self-determination and to live in freedom and dignity like other peoples. the earth .
