The German side showed resilience and determination as Deniz Undav scored twice, including a dramatic stoppage-time winner, to secure all three points and confirm their progression to the next round.

Undav’s Late Brilliance Seals German Triumph

Ivory Coast took the lead in the 30th minute through Franck Kessie, putting pressure on the German defense early in the match.

Germany responded strongly after the break, with Deniz Undav equalizing in the 68th minute before completing the comeback with a decisive goal in the 90+4th minute.

The match also saw two German goals ruled out in the first half due to rule violations, making the eventual victory even more impressive.

Germany Returns to Knockout Stage After Eight Years

With six points from two matches, Germany moved to the top of Group E and secured a place in the knockout rounds.

The qualification marks Germany’s return to the knockout stage for the first time since 2014, when the team lifted the World Cup trophy after winning its fourth global title.
