Nora Fatehi Brings Arab Representation to FIFA World Cup 2026 Soundtrack

  • Moroccan-Canadian Star Releases “Siir Siir” as Part of FIFA’s Global Musical Celebration

DUBAI: International singer, dancer, and actress Nora Fatehi is once again placing Arab and North African talent on the global stage with her latest musical contribution to the FIFA World Cup 2026 official album.

Her new track, “Siir Siir,” was released this week as part of FIFA’s star-studded music project celebrating the upcoming tournament, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

A Global Collaboration Celebrating Football and Culture

The energetic track features a collaboration between Nora Fatehi, music producer Sanjoy, and French artist Vegedream, whose 2018 football anthem “Ramenez la Coupe à la Maison” became a major hit among football fans worldwide.

The newly released music video, directed by Abderrafia El-Abdioui, showcases Fatehi performing against a striking desert backdrop, wearing a red-and-white ensemble surrounded by flags and football-inspired visuals.

The production combines modern global sounds with cultural influences, reflecting the international spirit of the FIFA World Cup.

A New Milestone in Nora Fatehi’s International Journey

The release marks another important achievement for Fatehi, whose roots trace back to Morocco. Although she was born and raised in Canada, she has frequently highlighted her Moroccan heritage and her connection to Arab and African culture.

Through her music and performances, Fatehi has increasingly built bridges between Arab, African, and international entertainment industries.

Continuing Her FIFA Legacy

Fatehi’s connection with FIFA is not new. In 2022, she performed on the official Qatar World Cup soundtrack “Light the Sky” alongside prominent Arab artists including Balqees, Rahma Riad, and Manal.

Her return to the FIFA stage with “Siir Siir” reinforces her position as one of the artists representing Arab talent on the world’s biggest sporting platform.

FIFA 2026 Album Highlights Global Diversity

The FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack continues to showcase artists from different regions and musical traditions, featuring genres ranging from Latin pop and Afrobeats to K-pop and Arabic music.

Among the featured Arab voices is Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna, who appears on the song “Illuminate” with Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez. The track blends Arabic melodies with Latin influences and contemporary pop.

Elyanna, who has expressed pride in representing the wider MENA region, is also scheduled to perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony in Toronto, Canada, on June 12.

With artists like Nora Fatehi and Elyanna taking part, the FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack is emerging as a celebration not only of football, but also of global culture, diversity, and artistic unity.
