Islamabad – In a formal ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the envoys of three countries and the European Union presented their credentials to the President of Pakistan, H.E. Asif Ali Zardari.
Those presenting their letters of credence included:

- H.E. Mrs. Eleni Porichi, Ambassador-designate of the Hellenic Republic (Greece)

- H.E. Mr. Raimundas Karoblis, Ambassador-designate of the European Union

- H.E. Dr. Zoltán Varga, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Hungary
On the occasion, President Zardari extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed ambassadors and expressed his hope that their tenure in Pakistan would further strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations. He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to deepening diplomatic engagement and expanding cooperation with all partner nations and institutions across areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, education, cultural exchange, and regional stability.
Earlier, upon arrival at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the envoys were received with a guard of honour presented by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The credential ceremony reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to fostering constructive international partnerships and enhancing its role in global and regional diplomacy.
