Promoting tourism in PAKISTAN

Pakistan is a country located in Southern Asia which borders the Arabian Sea , therefore Pakistan do have some neighbours which are namely India which is to the east ,Iran and Afghanistan to the west and China to the north. It is an Agro based country which is still developing . Moreover it is a country which is rich in natural beauty and known for its  history , desi rich culture and  amazing scenic views . Being a Pakistani here I am  like an ordinary person to promote my  motherland  and its beauties . Aback  titles  has been considered , one could be that its the mini Switzerland on map this has been said because of the natural scenic amazed views .There are various tourism spots and areas about which I would like to talk one by one.

First and foremost a place named skardu which is included in the most beautiful views in Pakistan . Skardu has gateaway to some of the worlds highest peaks including the k2. It is a region in the Gilgit-Baltistan known for its stunning landscape ,mountains and rivers. Skardu has been developed a lot , projects have aimed to enhance the infrastructure for tourism . In the infrastructure skardu Airport have been built up to handle large air crafts and more flights . Road network has been improved which connects skardu with other regions through skardu road which links the road with Karakoram highway , this has facilitated easier and faster travel for the tourists and locals.Furthermore telecomunication has expanded and internet services has been actively settled which is absolutely essential for residents and tourists .New hotels, guest houses and resorts have  been  established to accommodate tourists with their wants and needs . Hospital and clinics have been upgraded and expanded to provide better services .Despite  this about every place there is a past history which makes it interesting to explore and there are efforts being made to restore historical sites such as Shigar fort and Skardu fort, it is to preserve the regions cultural heritage. These initiatives boost Skardus economy and enhance its competitiveness as a tourist destination.

In addition Hunza Valley which is also located in Gilgit-Baltistan is the Pakistan’s most popular tourist destination which has many forts , towns , bridges and lakes .These features make it a lot more attractive . In common the most famous is Attabad lake in Hunza which is a beautiful lake has its own past history, it was formed in 2010 due to landslides. Now there are many activities going on like boating , fishing and other water activities . Facilities in Hunza offers comfortable and enjoyable visit for tourists , in accommodation they have luxurious hotels which are offering stunning views such as Hunza Lexus , Hunza serene inn , Hunza embassy hotel and many more .There are local restaurants cafe and bakeries .Visitors to Hunza can enjoy their stay with comfort and convenience .

There is another place known as Fairy Meadows which blows the minds out of its beauty . It is also a region in Gilgit-Baltistan and the nearest city is known as Chilas .It is a picture of alpine meadow which is at the base of Nanga Parbat ,the eight -highest mountain in the world .Known for its breath taking views of snow capped peaks ,lush green landscape some great surroundings. However it is a destination for trekkers and nature lovers providing an opportunity to explore one of Pakistans most scenic region .To the Fairy Meadows access has been given to jeeps it is because of the rough and adventurous landscape ,however except the jeeps hiking is another way. Moreover tour packages are available which offers services including accommodation ,meals and  guidelines. Overall ,Fairy Meadows is highly recommended destination for those who loves adventurous routes .

A place known as Malam Jabba , located in Swat . In winters it  is covered in snow so an amazed view could be seen of snow capped peaks .It is relatively not so far from the capital or any other active cities so its an popular destination for locals in summer and winter vacations . Up on the mountain there are many activities installed for the enjoyment of families and tourists such as chair lift ,skiing in Malam Jabba  is home to one of the few  ski resorts , snow boarding is another similar activity, hiking and trekking is allowed to visitors as there are numerous trails , camping is also an option for those who wants to experience the beauty of Malam Jabba . These features make Malam Jabba an attractive destination .

Moreover there is a lake named Mahodand lake which is known for its crystal-clear water and breath taking scenery. It is located in swat , district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Surrouneded by lush meadows ,dense forest and mountains. There are some highlighted activities which can be enjoyed at the lake such as boat can be rented and enjoy the serene crystal clear water , this lake is also a home to fishes including trout so  people who love to do fishing could have a spot , surrounding plain areas offers camping to experience the beauty of the area overnight when the sky is covered with stars just and unimaginary picture to enjoy, it is also a perfect location for photographers. Access to the lake is quite challenging particularly during winter months so it is best to visit in summers when the weather is pleasant and the roads are more accessible.

In contrast the White Palace also known as Sufed Mahal or Marghuzar White Palace , is a famous historical and tourist site located in the Swat Valley of Pakistan .It is approximately 12 kilometre away from Saidu Sharif which is the capital of Swat Valley . This Palace has a past history which says that it was constructed in 1941 by the first king of Swat whos name was Miangul Abdul Wadud . It is renewed for its beautiful white marble artitecture ,it was the marble obtained for Taj Mahal too which is in India .The structure shows a traditional and modern artitecture styles . Today , the White Palace is a popular tourist destination . Visitors are attracted by its historical significance ,artitectural beauty and the stunning views of surrounding mountain and greenery . This Palace has been converted into a hotel offering the guests to experience royal residence.It is a great place to explore the history of Swat Valley .

Furthermore  Islamabad which is the capital city of Pakistan  it  has greenery ,modern artitecture and well planned layout.Islamabad consists of some major attractions which are Faisal Mosque it is a largest mosque of Pakistan . Secondly Pakistan Monument it shows the unity of Pakistani people , features a museum on the countries history . Daman-e-Koh a viewpoint in the hills offers views of Islamabad . Lok Virsa Museum show case Pakistans diverse cultural heritage through traditional crafts . Besides the capital city  there  are various cities namely  Lahore , Karachi , Faisalabad , Hyderabad   , Quetta , Peshawar and many more . These cites do have attractions and  are known for vibrant markets , rich Mughal history with land marks and a luxury and comfort lifestyle. These cities have diverse range of experiences and a modern urban living and natural beauty.

In conclusion there are many other sites besides those which has been mentioned , all of these tourism areas priorities safety and security as it is a fundamental concern for travellers . People of Pakistan are very hospitable , polite and helpful which makes the trip of tourists a core memory.

However to fully realise this article, a strategic approach to tourism is essential . This article outlines key strategies to boost tourism in Pakistan and transform it into a global hotspot.
