According to the report, Qatari mediators are continuing their “shuttle diplomacy” between the two sides in an effort to facilitate an agreement. As part of the latest mediation efforts, Qatari officials are expected to hold separate meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and U.S. Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.
The meetings are aimed at narrowing differences and exploring possible areas of understanding between Washington and Tehran.
However, it remains uncertain whether the latest diplomatic efforts will be sufficient to overcome the outstanding disagreements between the two sides, Axios reported.
