BANGKOK: Two people were killed and more than 20 others injured in a shooting at a school in Thailand’s Nonthaburi Province, just north of Bangkok, according to local media reports.

The Khaosod newspaper reported that the two fatalities were teachers. Preliminary information indicates that at least three of the injured remain in critical condition and are receiving medical treatment.

Police and emergency response teams were swiftly deployed to the scene, where authorities have secured the area and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack.
