Al-Hilal football team snatched yesterday an important 4-3 win over the American team Inter Miami in a match part of the three-team tournament Riyadh Season Cup, held here.
The event marked the opening of the host team’s new stadium, Kingdom Arena.
Al-Hilal was the first to score through its Serbian striker Mitrovic in the 10th minute. Only two minutes later, his colleague Al-Hamdan added the second goal. In the 34th minute, the Uruguayan Suarez reduced the gap, scoring for his team, Inter Miami, a goal that needed validation through VAR. To the jubilation of Al-Hilal’s supporters, Brazilian Michael netted a goal in the 44th minute, ending the first half 3-1.
In the second half, Inter Miami surprised the hosts by scoring two goals in two minutes. The first came in the 54th minute from the penalty spot, professionally performed by Inter Miami captain Messi, the second from Suarez. However, Brazilian Malcom had the final say when he scored the fourth goal in the 55th minute, giving his team Al-Hilal the lead again and, most importantly, three points to the team.
