Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI received on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Mohamed Yssef, former Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema, and conferred upon him the prestigious Wissam Al Arch (Grand Officer).

Royal Recognition for Distinguished Service

The decoration was awarded in recognition of Yssef’s distinguished and dedicated service to religion, the nation, and the monarchy, reflecting his longstanding contributions across various responsibilities and missions.

Appointment of New Secretary General

During the same audience, the Sovereign received El Yazid Er-Radi, whom he appointed as the new Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema.
