General/Assistant Supervisor of the King Salman Relief Center meets with the Head of the Mission for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament

The Assistant General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for Operations and Programs, Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, met at the Center’s headquarters in Riyadh yesterday, with the Head of the Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament, Hannah Newman, and the delegation. accompanying her.


During the meeting, matters related to humanitarian and relief affairs were discussed, and prospects for enhancing joint cooperation and coordination between the two sides were discussed, while Hannah Neumann praised the professional mechanism in which the Kingdom operates, represented by the King Salman Relief Center, its preparation and coordination of humanitarian and relief programs, and its support for the needy and affected people in various countries of the world.


During the meeting, Engineer Al-Biz presented an overview of the relief and humanitarian projects implemented by the King Salman Relief Center for affected countries around the world, which amounted to 2,587 projects in 94 countries with a total value exceeding 6 billion and 450 million US dollars, which included various forms of relief support.
He reviewed the volunteer programs implemented by the Center in many affected countries, which amounted to 460 volunteer programs in the medical, educational, training, and other fields, highlighting some of the Center’s specific programs, such as the rehabilitation project for child soldiers, the “Masam” project to clear Yemeni lands of mines, and the prosthetic limbs project.
