- Abu Dhabi Reaffirms Full Solidarity with Gulf Neighbors and Calls the Attacks a Serious Violation of Sovereignty
ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the renewed missile and drone attacks launched by Iran against the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing the strikes as a grave violation of international law and a direct threat to regional peace and security.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) denounced the attacks in the strongest terms, stressing that such actions undermine the sovereignty of neighboring countries and risk further escalating tensions across the region.
UAE Denounces Violation of Sovereignty
The Ministry stated that the missile and drone attacks represent a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan, warning that such hostile actions threaten the security, stability and safety of the region.
The UAE emphasized that attacks targeting neighboring states are unacceptable and called for respect for international law and the principles of good neighborliness. The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering solidarity with the governments and peoples of Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan during the current security challenges.
It also expressed the UAE’s full support for all measures undertaken by the three countries to protect their national security, preserve their sovereignty and ensure the safety of their citizens and residents.
Commitment to Regional Peace and Stability
The UAE reiterated its consistent commitment to promoting dialogue, de-escalation and peaceful solutions to regional conflicts, while emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to safeguard stability in the Gulf and the wider Middle East.
Abu Dhabi stressed that preserving regional security requires respect for the sovereignty of states, adherence to international law and intensified diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation and maintain peace across the region.
