- MWL reaffirms unwavering solidarity with the three nations and calls for respect for international law and regional stability
ISLAMABAD: The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as serious violations of international law and a threat to regional peace and stability.
In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars, denounced what he described as repeated criminal attacks that violate religious principles, international law, humanitarian norms, and the sovereignty of independent states.
He said such actions undermine ongoing international and regional efforts aimed at promoting peace, strengthening security, and preserving stability across the Middle East.
Dr. Al-Issa reaffirmed the Muslim World League’s full solidarity with the governments and peoples of Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, expressing the organization’s unwavering support for all legitimate measures taken by the three countries to protect their sovereignty, national security, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
The MWL also emphasized the importance of respecting the sovereignty of all nations, adhering to the principles of international law, and resolving disputes through dialogue and peaceful means to ensure lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for the region.
The statement reflects the Muslim World League’s continued commitment to promoting moderation, unity, peaceful coexistence, and international cooperation while rejecting violence, aggression, and actions that threaten regional and global security.
