ISLAMABAD – The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Pakistan H.E Reza Amrir Moghadam issued a formal statement today and strongly condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan that resulted in numerous casualties.

The statement expressed Iran’s “strong condemnation” for the attacks, which led to “the martyrdom of a number of innocent civilians and brave security personnel and soldiers.” It extended the “sincere and deepest condolences and sympathy” of the Iranian government and people to Pakistan and the bereaved families.

Reiterating its principled stance, the embassy declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran “unequivocally condemns all forms of terrorism,” describing it as a persistent threat to the international community. The statement further asserted that “such heinous acts, often supported by extraterritorial actors, must be confronted through collective regional and international cooperation.”

The message concluded with expressions of solidarity: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost their loved ones, and we pray for the safe and speedy recovery of the injured.” The embassy offered a prayer that the martyrs be granted the highest ranks and eternal peace in Paradise (Jannat-ul-Firdous).
