Pakistan and Kazakhstan Deepen Strategic Ties Through High-Level Talks, Pave Way for Presidential Visit

ISLAMABAD — In a significant boost to Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations, high-level delegation talks were held in Islamabad, co-chaired by H.E. Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, and H.E. Mr. Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan. nThe Kazakh Foreign Minister was accompanied by a high-powered delegation, including Ministers of Transport and Trade, Vice Ministers for Information Technology and Agriculture, and senior government officials — signaling Kazakhstan’s strong interest in expanding multifaceted cooperation with Pakistan.

Strategic Engagement Across Sectors

Ahead of the formal delegation-level talks, the visiting Kazakh delegation held focused meetings with Pakistan’s Ministers of Communications, Railways, and Commerce. Simultaneously, Joint Working Groups (JWGs) on Information Technology and Agriculture convened to chart pathways for sectoral collaboration.

The Kazakh side also visited the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP) to explore technological cooperation and digital connectivity. In a key move to strengthen business-to-business ties, Deputy Prime Minister Nurtleu engaged with leaders of major Pakistani conglomerates to discuss trade and investment opportunities.

Signing of Landmark Action Plan
