Lahore – Dr. Imran Naqvi, a distinguished Danish alumnus and climate advocate, is making significant strides in environmental education as the Head of Environmental Sciences at the National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E) in Lahore. Dr. Naqvi completed his PhD research in Environmental Sciences & Advanced Biofuels at Aalborg Universitet in Denmark, where his year-long research stay has had a lasting impact on his professional journey.

Upon returning to Pakistan, Dr. Naqvi became a passionate educator, determined to inspire and mentor the next generation of green leaders. His work, driven by a commitment to sustainability, integrates global best practices and local realities to foster a greener future for Pakistan.

Recently, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Peter Emil Nielsen visited NCBA&E to meet Dr. Naqvi, learn about his inspiring journey, and engage with students on the critical need for climate resilience. During the visit, Mr. Nielsen also had the honor of awarding degrees to seven newly graduated students in Environmental Studies.
Dr. Naqvi highlighted how Danish initiatives and green solutions have been woven into the curriculum at NCBA&E, offering an inspiring example of the strong and impactful ties between Denmark and Pakistan. His efforts stand as a testament to how alumni can bridge nations and drive positive change in addressing global environmental challenges.
