INDIAN WELLS, Calif. — Heather Lin hung onto the lead on Moving Day at the Epson Tour Championship at Indian Wells and currently sits at 12-under overall, one shot ahead of a foursome of athletes in a tie for second at 11-under.
Among that group is 2024 Casino Del Sol Golf Classic winner Madison Young, who entered the week at 12th in the Race for the Card, and 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion Saki Baba, who was 18th in the season-long points competition ahead of this week in the desert.
Athletes who finish in the top 15 of the Race for the Card at the end of the Epson Tour Championship will earn LPGA Tour Membership for the 2025 season. Those who finish 11 to 35 in the Race will see their entry fee at the Final Qualifying portion of LPGA Q-Series paid for by the Seiko Epson Corporation.
