
ISLAMABAD – President of Pakistan, H.E. Asif Ali Zardari, reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a meeting with the Saudi Ambassador, H.E. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, at Aiwan-e-Sadr. The meeting was also attended by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Welcoming Ambassador Al-Malki, President Zardari lauded the enduring, time-tested ties between the two brotherly nations, rooted in shared faith, mutual respect, and historical bonds. He emphasized the need to further enhance cooperation in key sectors such as trade, economy, and culture to unlock the full potential of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations.
Highlighting Pakistan’s investor-friendly environment, the President invited Saudi investors to explore lucrative opportunities across various sectors of the Pakistani economy, including energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and tourism.
“Pakistan deeply values its strong partnership with Saudi Arabia and appreciates the Kingdom’s steadfast support in times of need,” President Zardari stated, expressing gratitude for Riyadh’s consistent assistance in areas of economic and humanitarian importance.
The two sides also discussed matters of regional and international interest, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, stability, and mutual cooperation at multilateral forums.
President Zardari conveyed his warmest greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, acknowledging their visionary leadership and commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
The meeting concluded on a note of mutual goodwill and a shared vision for an even stronger Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relationship in the years to come.
