Pakistan Golf Team Tees Off for the 38th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship

Islamabad – The Pakistan Golf Team is gearing up to participate in the 38th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship, scheduled from 23rd to 26th April 2025 at the prestigious Savar Golf Club, Bangladesh.

This year’s contingent features Pakistan’s top amateur talent: Mr. Numan Ilyas and Mr. Salman Jehangir in the Men’s Team, and Ms. Parkha Ijaz and Ms. Aania Farooq Syed in the Women’s Team.

The Men’s Championship will be contested over 72 holes of stroke play from April 23 to 27, while the Women’s Championship will consist of 54 holes.

Pakistan has enjoyed notable success at this international event. Ahmad Baig brought pride to the nation by winning the Men’s Individual Title in January 2019, while the Ladies Team comprising Suneyah Osama and Abiha Hanim Syed secured the Women’s Team Trophy in March 2023.

With a strong lineup and growing momentum in international amateur golf, Team Pakistan aims to build on its past successes and deliver standout performances in both categories.
