- The King Mohammed VI Issues His Very High Instructions to Dispatch Emergency Humanitarian & Medical Aid to Brotherly Palestinian People
RABAT — Demonstrating his steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has once again taken decisive and compassionate action by ordering the immediate dispatch of emergency humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people, particularly those suffering in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement released Wednesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, it was announced that nearly 180 tons of life-saving supplies—including essential foodstuffs, milk, children’s products, medicines, surgical equipment, blankets, and tents—will be delivered through a specially arranged route designed to ensure rapid and direct access to the affected populations.
This noble initiative is a continuation of Morocco’s unwavering policy of solidarity with the Palestinian people and highlights the deep humanitarian vision of His Majesty the King, who has consistently placed the dignity and well-being of Palestinians at the heart of his international engagement.
Earlier in March 2024, under the direct guidance of His Majesty, Morocco achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first country to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza via land through Israel, following air transit to Tel Aviv. That landmark operation, involving 40 tons of vital supplies, was hailed as a global breakthrough in humanitarian logistics to the besieged region.
Through these decisive efforts, King Mohammed VI once again sets an example of moral leadership, compassion, and diplomatic foresight—proving that humanitarian action must transcend political barriers when it comes to protecting the lives of the most vulnerable.
This latest operation reinforces Morocco’s long-standing position as a pillar of regional peace, human dignity, and justice, and reflects the unbreakable ties between the Kingdom and the Palestinian people, particularly in the defense of Al-Quds and the sacred Islamic heritage.
