Islamabad – H.E. Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, has expressed profound sorrow and solidarity with the people of Pakistan in the wake of the devastating monsoon rains that have claimed hundreds of lives and caused widespread destruction across the country.
In a heartfelt message, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam conveyed his condolences on behalf of the people and government of Iran, stating, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the devastating impact of the recent monsoon rains, which have tragically claimed the lives of hundreds of our dear Pakistani brothers and sisters and left many more injured across various regions.”
He extended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved families and paid tribute to the resilience of the Pakistani people during this difficult time. “May Allah Almighty grant the departed souls eternal peace in Jannah and provide strength and patience to their loved ones,” the Ambassador said.
The Iranian envoy also prayed for the swift and complete recovery of the injured and reiterated Iran’s commitment to supporting its brotherly neighbor in any way possible. “The Islamic Republic of Iran stands in full solidarity with Pakistan and is prepared to extend all possible support and assistance,” he affirmed.
Highlighting the deep-rooted ties between the two nations, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam added, “Our hearts and prayers are with our Pakistani brothers and sisters. May they find strength in unity, and may peace and normalcy return swiftly to the affected areas.”
