Islamabad – In the wake of the recent devastation caused by torrential rains and flash floods across northern Pakistan—particularly in Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other vulnerable mountainous communities—the Bosnia and Herzegovina-based humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba has stepped forward with vital emergency relief.
In a swift and compassionate response, 150 affected families received essential food and non-food supplies, including tents for temporary shelter, ensuring immediate support for those displaced by the disaster. The aid distribution was part of Pomozi.ba’s ongoing commitment to assisting communities in crisis worldwide.

From September 28 to 30, 2025, Mr. Mithat Brkan, a senior representative of Pomozi.ba, personally visited the flood-hit areas. During his visit, he met with local elders, affected families, and community members, offering solidarity and heartfelt condolences to those who lost loved ones in the catastrophe.
Mr. Brkan was accompanied by representatives from the partner organization Alkhidmat Europe, emphasizing a collaborative international effort to bring hope and healing to those in need.
This timely intervention by Pomozi.ba underscores the power of global humanitarian solidarity in the face of natural disasters and reflects a shared commitment to standing with the people of Pakistan during their time of need.
