Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe Visits Pakistan to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad – At the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, His Excellency Ambassador Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, is undertaking an official visit to Pakistan from 21-22 April 2025.

During his stay, Foreign Minister Nduhungirehe will hold bilateral talks with Deputy Prime Minister Dar to discuss avenues for enhancing cooperation between the two nations. He is also scheduled to call on the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Chairman Senate, alongside meetings with key federal ministers.

A highlight of the visit will be the inauguration of the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda in Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in diplomatic relations. Additionally, the Foreign Minister will engage with members of the Pakistani business community to explore trade and investment opportunities.

This visit marks the first-ever official trip by a Rwandan Foreign Minister to Pakistan following the establishment of diplomatic missions in Kigali and Islamabad. It is expected to open new doors for collaboration, further cementing ties between the two friendly countries.
