Islamabad – The ambassador Nicolas Galey signed a declaration of intent with Barrister Nabeel Awan, chairman of the Planning & Development Board of the Government of Punjab, for envisaged support in combating air pollution in Punjab.

Through the Agence Française de Développement (AFD)/French Development Agency, French Government will mobilize French expertise for supporting Government of Punjab in designing actions aiming at improving the air quality in Punjab

province. AIRPARIF and SYCTOM (French Public sector actors) will be providing strategic and policy support to the Government of Punjab through technical assistance. The ceremony was attended by the economic counsellor of the embassy Laurent Chopiton, the AFD regional director Yazid BENSAID, the AFD country director Vincent Thevenot and officials of the Government of Punjab, AIRPARIF and SYCTOM.
