Ethiopian Embassy Showcases Cultural and Tourism Riches at Bahria University’s Global Village 2025

H.E. Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest

ISLAMABAD – The Embassy of Ethiopia in Islamabad participated with great success in the Global Village 2025, an event hosted by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Bahria University. The Embassy’s pavilion served as a dynamic showcase of Ethiopia’s rich cultural tapestry, diverse tourism offerings, and centuries-old heritage for the people of Pakistan.

The event, an annual celebration dedicated to fostering cultural diversity and global understanding, was honored by the presence of His Excellency Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, as the Chief Guest. H.E. Al Zaabi visited the Ethiopian pavilion, where he experienced a traditional coffee ceremony and engaged with embassy representatives.

The Ethiopian exhibit emerged as a central highlight of the festival, drawing significant interest from faculty and students. Visitors explored Ethiopia’s vibrant traditions, pristine eco-tourist landscapes, and renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The participation successfully elevated Ethiopia’s profile as a premier destination for cultural and adventure tourism.
