  • A Vision of Compassion and Sustainability Positions Dubai at the Forefront of Global Philanthropy

Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global hub of humanitarian leadership and generosity, as the Dubai Charity Association announced remarkable achievements under its flagship campaign, “The Goodness Endures.” The initiative has successfully reached more than 3.2 million beneficiaries across the UAE and 31 countries worldwide, reflecting the emirate’s unwavering commitment to compassion, sustainability, and global solidarity.

Ahmed Al Suwaidi, CEO of the association, highlighted that these record-breaking results are a testament to the deeply rooted culture of giving that defines UAE society. He commended the vital contributions of strategic partners, ambassadors of الخير, and dedicated field teams whose collective efforts have amplified the campaign’s global impact.

A Strategic Vision Inspired by Dubai’s Leadership

The campaign operates within a forward-looking framework aligned with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In particular, it reflects the principles of the “Fifty-Year Charter,” which emphasizes sustainable growth in humanitarian work alongside the nation’s economic progress.

Al Suwaidi noted that the association’s structured and strategic approach aims to institutionalize charitable work while ensuring long-term sustainability—further reinforcing Dubai’s role as a model for modern, impactful philanthropy.

Expanding Impact Through Diverse Humanitarian Initiatives

The campaign’s success is underpinned by a wide range of initiatives designed to address immediate needs while fostering lasting development:

  • The “Iftar Sayem” project supported approximately 1.3 million individuals, including 965,000 beneficiaries within the UAE and 257,000 internationally.
  • Around 70,000 iftar meals were distributed to motorists through the “Kun Bel Khair” initiative, promoting community solidarity during the holy month.
  • The “Goodness Coupon” program reached over 108,000 beneficiaries both locally and globally, providing essential support to vulnerable groups.

In addition, Zakat al-Fitr contributions were distributed to 325,000 individuals, while Eid clothing was provided to 14,600 low-income families, widows, orphans, and People of Determination—further strengthening social cohesion and inclusivity.

Strengthening Social Protection and Global Outreach

A key pillar of the campaign has been its commitment to long-term care and empowerment. The association currently sponsors and supports 14,500 orphans across the UAE and multiple countries, reinforcing a comprehensive social safety net for those most in need.

Looking ahead, Al Suwaidi announced the launch of a new phase of major international projects targeting 1.5 million beneficiaries. These include the construction of mosques, drilling of المياه wells, building homes for low-income families, and establishing schools and Quran memorization centers.

These initiatives are complemented by a broader portfolio of sustainable development programs designed to create enduring, positive change in communities worldwide.

Dubai: A Global Beacon of Humanitarian Leadership

The success of “The Goodness Endures” campaign underscores Dubai’s growing influence as a center for humanitarian innovation and excellence. By combining strategic vision, community engagement, and sustainable development, Dubai continues to set global benchmarks in charitable work.

As the emirate advances its ambitious vision for the future, its humanitarian initiatives stand as a powerful reflection of its core values—generosity, inclusivity, and a steadfast commitment to improving lives across the world.
