ISLAMABAD: Denmark has reaffirmed its strong commitment to supporting Pakistan’s green growth and sustainable development journey at the 3rd Sustainability Investment Expo, organized by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI).
As a key partner in promoting climate innovation, Denmark supported innovative SMEs presenting climate-smart solutions at the Investor Roadshow, connecting entrepreneurs with investors and businesses driving sustainable change.
Mr. Peter Emil Nielsen, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Denmark, joined Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Climate Change Musadiq Malik, and Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh at the inaugural plenary session.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nielsen highlighted Denmark’s green transition experience and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between Pakistan and Denmark to advance a sustainable, climate-resilient future.

He reaffirmed Denmark’s readiness to share expertise, technology, and best practices in renewable energy, water management, and green innovation, underscoring that green growth is not only an environmental necessity but also an opportunity for inclusive economic progress.
