Islamabad – Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday. The two leaders discussed matters of bilateral importance, with particular attention to the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India following the recent Pahalgam incident.

He thanked the president for sharing Pakistan’s perspective and reiterated China’s unwavering support for Islamabad’s efforts to promote peace and stability in South Asia.
