- PM Mark Carney Visits Kyiv, Reaffirming Canada’s Support for Ukraine
KYIV: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has arrived in Kyiv, according to a statement released on Sunday by Andriy Yermak, Chief of Staff to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“On this special day — Ukraine’s Independence Day — it is especially important for us to feel the support of our friends. And Canada has always stood by us,” Yermak wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
