  • H.E. Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Al Kharusi, Ambassador of Oman—National Day Message

On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman, I would like to express my pleasure and satisfaction that also gives me the opportunity to celebrate and laud the cordial relations between both brotherly countries Oman and Pakistan. I would also like to mention that both the countries have deep rooted and remarkable ties, which could and should be developed more in the fields of trade, economy, culture and tourism as there exist great opportunities in these fields.

The Sultanate of Oman celebrate its National Day on the 20th of November. Omani people will mark the Renewed Renaissance and its glorious reign under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, who affirmed his constant quest to advance Oman’s modern cultural and economic status and his keenness to make Omani citizens as true partners in their country’s comprehensive development.

The relations between Oman and Pakistan are excellent, close, warm, brotherly, cordial and deep-rooted. These relations are characterized by friendliness, cooperation and common perception over regional and international issues.

I firmly believe that there are high potentials for increasing the ties in commercial and economic fields. There are also great chances for both the brotherly countries to enhance and further boost the trade by introducing more programs and projects. I would add that there are more opportunities for Pakistanis to invest in Oman and so can the Omanis do here for mutual benefits of economy.

Furthermore, both Oman and Pakistan are culturally rich countries and both should take mutual steps enhance and exposure of it in an exemplary manner.
