Islamabad — The Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Robert-Jan Siegert, called on Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif at his office in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and reviewed the entire spectrum of Pakistan–Netherlands bilateral relations, with a focus on strengthening political, defence, and economic cooperation.

The Defence Minister emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Netherlands and is keen to further enhance collaboration across multiple domains. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region, highlighting the latest security situation along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.
Ambassador Siegert expressed the Netherlands’ willingness to engage constructively with Pakistan in various sectors of shared interest, including trade, investment, renewable energy, and education. Both sides agreed to maintain regular dialogue to advance common objectives and deepen mutual understanding.
