
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Holds Talks with Omani Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Islamabad – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with His Excellency Fahad Bin Sulaiman Bin Khalaf Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, to discuss matters of mutual interest and further enhance Pakistan-Oman relations.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of security. Minister Naqvi emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to its longstanding fraternal ties with Oman, rooted in shared faith, cultural affinity, and historical connections.
Highlighting the strong people-to-people bond, the Interior Minister noted that over 300,000 Pakistanis are currently contributing to Oman’s development and progress. He further stated that Pakistan is keen to send more skilled professionals to Oman, reinforcing economic and labor collaboration between the two nations.
Ambassador Fahad Alkharusi praised the positive role of the Pakistani community in Oman and expressed satisfaction over the decades-old diplomatic and brotherly relations between the two countries. Both sides agreed to explore new avenues of partnership to further strengthen bilateral engagement.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with mutual optimism for enhanced cooperation in multiple sectors in the coming years.
