As part of the celebrations for the 57th ASEAN Day, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, together with H.E. Retno L.P. Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and H.E. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, officially launched the ASEAN Day Open House by cutting the ribbon at the ASEAN Heritage Building.
They participated in a brief tour of various exhibitors, including representatives from ASEAN Centres and Entities, the ASEAN Women’s Circle, ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Dialogue Partners, and the education sector, which showcased scholarship and bursary opportunities. This event marks the first open house at the ASEAN Secretariat since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
