Thai Ambassador to Senegal paid a farewell call on the President of the Republic of Senegal, upon her completion of tenure

Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Senegal, paid a farewell call on H.E. Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, upon her completion of tenure. Ambassador Thippawan expressed her sincere gratitude to the President and the Senegalese government, as well as the authorities she had been working with, for their support and friendship extended to the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar, during her diplomatic service in Senegal.

On this occasion, both sides reaffirmed the cordial ties between Thailand and Senegal as this year marked the 43rd Anniversary of their diplomatic relations. The two sides discussed areas for further cooperation, including, economic dimension, enhancing two-way trade and investment, as well as socio-cultural aspect, in particular, development cooperation on public health, agriculture, and human resource development. These areas of cooperation will continue to enhance the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples in the years to come.
