Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn attended the First High-Level Meeting of the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum in Bali, Indonesia today. The forum provided a platform for archipelagic and island states to explore potentials to cooperate collectively and effectively in addressing issues such as the sustainable future of the world’s oceans, climate change and climate-related disasters, Blue Economy, marine plastic debris, as well as good maritime governance, among others.
