New York — In a dignified and celebratory gathering, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, hosted a reception at ‘Pakistan House’ in New York to mark the successful conclusion of Pakistan’s Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month of July 2025.
The event brought together a distinguished array of diplomats, UN officials, and members of the international community in a spirited evening that blended diplomacy with cultural warmth. The reception served as a moment of reflection and recognition of Pakistan’s proactive role during its rotational presidency of the world’s highest security decision-making body.
