Morocco Condemns Renewed Israeli Aggression on Gaza

Morocco Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita

Since Tuesdy , Israel genocidal war killed at least 506 Palestinians, and injured 909 other.

Rabat –  Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita has conveyed Morocco’s strong position against Israel’s newest attacks on civilians in Gaza.

“The recent number of victims killed in the past few days highlights the severity of the situation. Morocco considers Israel’s actions unacceptable and condemnable, as they do not contribute to securing stability in the region,” Bourita said in a press conference today.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement, with their resumed aggression on civilians in Gaza on March 18.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, IOF has been carrying out a “wave of bloody airstrikes” across Gaza, killing hundreds of Palestinians, including over 100 children.

Since Tuesday, the death toll has reached 506 with 909 others injured, and the numbers are rising.

Minister Bourita also renewed Morocco’s commitment to supporting the ceasefire, which has now been broken by Israel, noting that King Mohammed VI has stressed the importance of the truce as an essential and crucial step toward the next phases.

“He [the King], affirmed that the ceasefire agreement should not be subject to narrow calculations or become a field of auctioning and bargaining,” Bourita concluded.

In addition to the forceful displacement of nearly two million from across Gaza, the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza has killed over 49,617 Palestinians – mostly women and children – since October 2023.

IOF relentless attacks have also injured over 112,950 others, with an additional 10,000 others unaccounted for and presumed to be dead under the rubble.
