Iran FM meets Iraqi deputy FM talks diplomacy Palestine

During this meeting, Amirabdollahian characterized the relationship between Iran and Iraq as an exceptional model in the region.

He highlighted the continuous high-level visits, consultations between the two nations, and various cooperation agreements across different sectors as indicative of the depth of their amicable relations.

Commending Iraq’s pivotal role in promoting regional stability, Amirabdollahian stressed the necessity of bolstering diplomatic and international endeavors to address the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza.

Furthermore, Amirabdollahian positively appraised the progress in implementing the bilateral security agreement between Iran and Iraq, emphasizing the imperative to activate all its provisions.

In this meeting, Mohammad Hossein Bahrul Uloom, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iraq, condemned the 75-year Zionist occupation of Palestine.

He advocated for Palestinian unity and urged the Islamic world to converge in support of Palestine’s defense.
