Despite a troubled AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 campaign, Ulsan Hyundai FC will host Kawasaki Frontale knowing that their fate is still very much in their own hands.
A win for the Korea Republic side at the Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium will confirm them as one of the three best runners-up and confirm their spot in the Round of 16.
Nine points from a possible 15 is a poor return for an Ulsan side who were AFC Champions League winners just three seasons ago.
The Korea Republic champions, however, have done just enough to stay in the race and will be counting on home ground advantage to take them past a Frontale side who have established themselves as one of a the favourites for the title.
The Japanese side will be seeking to end the group stage with a perfect six wins.
They sealed their Round of 16 berth with two matches to spare but are unlikely to take their foot off the pedal against Ulsan, settind the stage for a blockbuster clash.
